  1. MARCH 2012 MAJESTIC KINGDOM PROVISION Pastor Ambrose Nyangao [All scripture quotes from NIV]

  2. God is to be praised as we see his goodness even in this third month of the year. We continue to proclaim that this is the year of the Lord’s Majestic Kingdom Reign.

  3. This month we focus on the MAJESTIC KINGDOM PROVISION. • The Kingdom theme vision passage clearly captures this for us in Ps 145:14-16

  4. The Lord upholds those all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their FOOD at the PROPER TIME You OPEN your hand and SATISFY the desires of every living thing

  5. These are awesome truths that we must believe in and rely upon Many have this notion that after God created man and woman upon the earth, he left them to fend for themselves. Others have this idea that humans must not wait for God to meet their needs; but they must work for it themselves. God has not changed his nature. He is still a Father to His people.

  6. In restoring Noah and his children God said the following in Gen 9:1-3 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying • “Be fruitful and increase and fill the earth • Everything that lives and moves will be food for you.”

  7. To Abraham God said in Gen 13:14-15 “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.”

  8. The psalmist had this to say about God and His desire to provide for us in Ps 103:2-5 • “Praise the LORD and forget not all his BENEFITS • Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases • Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion • Who SATISFIES your desires with good things so that your youth is RENEWED like the eagle’s.”

  9. God is the Source of all our provision. I declare to you that this is the season that God is meeting your needs and supplying His abundance to you. You may be going through a season of famine, but that does not change God’s character. He is JEHOVAH JIREH. Isaac found this out in Gen 26:2, 12. He tried to go to Egypt, like his father did in a time of famine, but the Lord said to him:

  10. “Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and bless you • For to you I will give all these lands” • Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, • Because the LORD blessed him

  11. This season Kingdom resources are coming our way. We must not worry and fret. This does not mean that we all sit down and let manna from heaven fall on us. What I am saying is that we must know that GOD IS THE SOURCE and the one who PROVIDES for us. Even the strength to work comes from him.

  12. Through Moses, God affirmed in Deut 8:16-18 • “He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers had never known, • To humble and to test you, so that in the end it might go well with you. • You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ • But remember the LORD your God, • For it is he who gives you THE ABILITY to produce wealth, • And so confirms his COVENANT, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.”

  13. We must know that the Lord is our PORTION. We are people of covenant and promise. The promises of God never fail. They are given to us to claim and to rely on. Ps 73:25-26 reads • “Whom have I in heaven but you? • And earth has nothing I desire besides you. • My flesh and my heart may fail, • But God is the strength of my life and my PORTION forever.”

  14. One of the promises that blows my mind, was given to Israel by God who is indeed our portion. During a very challenging time of their history, God said to them in Zech 8:12-13: • “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crop, and the heavens will drop their dew. • I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people. • As you have been an a object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, • so will I save you, and you will be a BLESSING. • Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.”

  15. We do not rely on the world as a source of our provision. The world’s economy is limited. Our lives operate on another level—the Kingdom level. The woman at Zarephath was at the end of her rope and she waited to cook her last meal and die. But God sent a prophet so that she could hook up with the Kingdom supply.

  16. The Prophet proclaimed to her a Kingdom word and said [I Kings 17:14-16]: • “For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: • ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry • Until the day the LORD gives rain on the land.’” • So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. • For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not dry up, • in keeping with the WORD of the LORD spoken by Elijah.

  17. God rejoices when His children have abundance. Paul said this in II Cor 9:10-11 • “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food • will also supply and increase your store of seed • and will ENLARGE the harvest of your righteousness. • You will be made rich in every way • so that you can be generous on every occasion, • and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

  18. We must trust God and be confident of His ability to provide for us at all times. Isaiah 55:1-2 • “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; • and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! • Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost. • Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? • Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.”

  19. We must engage Kingdom principles of giving. Jesus said in Lk 6:38: • “GIVE, and it will be given to you. • a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, • will be poured into your lap.” • For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

  20. We must watch what we say concerning issues of provision. The words of your mouth can attract or repel God’s provision. Prov 18:20-21 reads: • “From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled; • with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. • The tongue has the POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH, • and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

  21. God is honored when His children are provided for. Joel prophesied concerning God’s provision in Joel 2:26: • “You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, • and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, • who has worked wonders for you; • never again will my people be shamed.”

  22. This is the season of the Lord’s Majestic Kingdom Reign. May you connect and enjoy His provision. Do your part, and let him do his part. Do not be bowed down. Call on Him. He is willing to make things happen for you.

  23. You may be facing various needs like: • Job needs • Financial needs • Health needs • Relational needs • Spiritual needs • Social needs • Emotional needs • Physical needs • Breakthrough needs

  24. May the promise of Mat 7:7-8 become your connection to the Kingdom provision and supply: • Ask and it will be given to you • Seek and you will find • Knock and the door will be opened to you. • For everyone who asks receives • He who seeks finds • And to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

  25. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? • Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? • If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, • How MUCH MORE will your Father in heaven give GOOD GIFTS • To those who ASK Him!

  26. ARISE AND SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU.

  27. AMEN AND AMEN!!
