Tennessee Valley AuthorityHurricane Preparedness • Data products: Topographic Maps, and a wide range of GIS products coving the Tennessee Valley, and the TVA Power Service Area in TN, MS, AL, GA, NC, VA, and KY. • Federal facilities and personnel duty stations • Digital Mapping/GIS Production facility classified at the secret level to support 24 people. – Chattanooga TN. • Digital Mapping/GIS production facility Unclassified to support 35 people in Chattanooga TN. • Digital Mapping/GIS production facility Unclassified to support 15 people in Knoxville TN.

  4. Recent Activities/Agency Efforts • Assisted in hazardous materials recovery, classification and disposal from Hurricane Rita in SW Louisiana • Assisted in restoring Electric Power where transmission lines were damaged. • TVA Police provided security support for the restoration of power.
