Proposed Amendments to By-Laws ARTICLE III – MEETINGS OF MEMBERS Section 4 – Voting Current wording: Section 4 – Voting: All issues to be voted on shall be decided by a simple majority of those present at the meetings in which the vote takes place. Each member, Individual or Organizational, shall have one (1) vote. Members shall not vote by proxy. Proposed wording: Section 4 – Voting: All issues to be voted on shall be decided by a simple majority of members who vote electronically during the voting period. Each member, Individual or Organizational, shall have one (1) vote. Members shall not vote by proxy. Note: Proposed additions to Section 4 are underlined.

  3. Proposed Amendments to By-Laws ARTICLE VII – FISCAL YEAR Section 1 – Fiscal year Current wording: The fiscal year of the Corporation shall be the calendar year ending on December 31. Proposed wording: Section 1 – Fiscal year: The fiscal year of the Corporation shall be from July 1st to June 30th. Note: Proposed additions to Section 1 are underlined.

  4. Mission Promote a culture of health for the citizens of Arkansas by advancing nursing education, practice, leadership, and workforce development. Member of

Purpose • Serve as a statewide data clearinghouse regarding nursing practice, nursing workforce supply and demand, and nursing education. • Publish reports of the current state of the nursing workforce, including nursing supply, demand, and educational opportunities to the citizens of Arkansas. • Promote a culture of health for the citizens of Arkansas. • Promote a diverse nursing workforce to meet the needs of the citizens of Arkansas.
