  2. The proposal The proposal is to set up a complete residential private university in Bihardedicated to advanced scientific research and education. The center will be established in a joint consortium of BBrains Development Society, TekBrains Pvt Ltd, and NRIs. The technical assistance, guidance and support for developing Lab, designing courses and its teaching methodologies has been given by the experts of Foreign universities, the scientists of DRDO and IITs. .   4. WHY at patna? Demand Vs Supply : Bihar , third largest populated state of India, population over 8 billion and Patna , the ancient Pataliputra capital of India, Now capital city of Bihar equipped with all modern facilities. But unfortunately this state has been ignored place by govt of state, govt of India and also private sector despite knowing the fact that there are insufficient no.of universities and colleges. therefore, plight of students has become necessary phenomenon for middle class and high class family to send their child in other states of India. Patna : Next Emerging Center for R&D in Eastern India. Reason A: In recent years, following Technical institutes have been established a. Indian Institute of Technology, Patna b. National Institute of Technology, Patna c. Birla Institute of Technology, Patna d. National Institute of Pharmaceutical education and research , Hajipur e. Central University of Bihar started functioning f. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Patna .   5. WHY at patna? Reason B: In coming years, following institutes are being set up a. Nalanda International University, Nalanda b. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, at Patna c. Companies are being set up by big players Large workforce and intelligent Brains are the backbone of Bihar. No. of IITians and Research scholars are in very large numbers who are contributing and contributed in the national S&T . Favorable Government Existing Universities are comparatively doing well and environment of scientific research are being developed. Stepwise development Initially, we will develop following Institutes and Research Center Center for Advanced Technology and Research,(CATR) : This center is already under process for starting M.Tech, M.S and other advanced diploma courses in Biotechnology and Advanced Electronics and Computer Technology under Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) and IGNOU. Later this center will be solely a part of PUST. Institute for Electronics Science and Computer Technology (IESCT): under which Advanced Electronics Lab will be established” 3.   7. CENTER FOR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY & RESEARCH, (CATR) CATR is the state-of-the-art higher education and research reform effort. The CATR develops (/combines) academics with technical and product design and development ability, process management along with entrepreneurial, professional and critical thinking skills to cope up with fast changing market needs. CATR provides a state-of-the-art research and technology facility where students learn complete cycle of product development and design complete projects in collaboration with national and international partners. CATR develop students as entrepreneur, critical thinker and problem solver. This center shall propose to become authorized distance Learning center of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi for M.Tech (and other post-graduation courses) and Sikkim Manipal University for M.Sc, B.SC and other advanced diploma and PG Diploma level courses. He /she must have knowledge in VHDL/VERILOG/C/KIEL COMPILER/Handling microprocessor kit/Microcontroller Kit /DSP Processor Kit with sound knowledge of their simulators. Asst.   25. Estimated investement Minimum 6.6 crore Rs is required if we start work on rented house. If we purchase Land, then Minimum 10 Acre Land is required for the campus. Land cost may go : 35 lakh Rs per acre x 10 = Rs. 3.5 crore.   27. investment model Investment cum contribution Model : Any member, NRIS or foreigners can contribute and become investor . Plan 1: For fixed period of 6 years , he/she will get profit share . After that, it would be solely part of BBrains Dev society and TekBrains. Plan 2: contributors will get double of their invested amount in return after 6 yrs.
