  4. ALIENATION FROM NATURE Sin destroys the harmony with the rest of creation Sin (moral evil) opens the door to suffering and death (physical evil) Genesis 3: 16, 19 – pain and death

  5. ALIENATION FROM OTHERS Sin separates us from one another, even our own family members Genesis 4: 8 – 10,16 – Cain killing Abel
