  6. Galatians 2:16 • know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.

  7. Justified By Faith • Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. • Philippians 3:9 - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

  8. Justified By Faith • Living a God-honoring life is not the reason for our righteousness, but our faithfulness to Christ.

  10. Galatians 3:14 • He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Lived By Faith • Romans 4:13 - It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. • John 8:39 - "Abraham is our father," they answered. "If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would do the things Abraham did.

  14. Chosen By Faith • John 1:12 - Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God– • Romans 8:16 - The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
