Warm-up: SPELL • Your surname to the person next to you • The football or hockey team you support • The town where you come from • Your wife/girlfriend/partners name • The sexiest man/ woman in the world • Country you would like to visit • Make of car/bike you drive/ride (or you would like to drive/ ride)

  5. You may have to spell a word like this…… Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave".

  10. CALLSIGNS Are used to identify astation or an individual. A callsign (C/S) is usually a combination of letters andfigures (BS730)

  11. ESTABLISMENT OF CONTACT Initial Call: Station being called Station calling EXAMPLE: Pardubice tower, SF153 Note: on the very first contact, you would add “good morning”, or “dobrý den“
