2. Magazine cover Magazine title The magazine cover title is perhaps the most important feature of the cover. It is positioned in the top left of the page as this way it makes it easy for the audience to read it. The Title ‘Flix’ carries connotations of old fashion films and movies in general. ‘Flix’ is also a play on word or flicks which is British slang for films, I chose this title in the effort to make the magazine seem fashionable, another example of this the mobile phone company ‘Vodafone’.

3. Magazine cover Tagline The tagline is an important feature of any magazine as it outlines what the magazine contains and what it is about. I have chosen to feature my movie in this particular magazine as it displays my film as up and coming blockbuster and by doing this it will reach the largest audience.

4. Magazine Cover Bar code the bar code featured in the top right of my magazine cover is typical of all magazines and makes the magazine generally easier to distribute .

5. Price The price of a magazine is important as it places it in a certain area of the market. By making the magazine £2.99 it is affordable for everyone yet show the content is valid and up to date.

6. Magazine Cover Competitions and free items In most magazine there are a number of competitions and ‘free bees’ to draw the customer in. By directing the prizes and competitions at the reader and making them specific to their interests, this makes the magazine more attractive to them.

7. Magazine Cover Content By displaying what is inside the magazine on the front cover and making it specific to the readers specific interests this further attracts a potential reader.

8. Magazine Cover Creativity In creating my poster I used the Window programme ‘Word’. I decided to make my magazine cover on this programme as I am familiar with it and comes stand with most computers so i was able to edit my cover in a number of locations and at different times.
