Case 1 Indications gas tanks • ADR 4.3.3.3.2 When tanks, battery-vehicles or MECGs are handed over for carriage, only the particulars specified in 6.8.3.5.6 applicable to the gas loaded or just discharged shall be visible; all particulars concerning other gases shall covered up. If encountered: Sanction or warning?

Case 3 Safety adviser How does the different countries deal with the Safety Adviser? e.g. • Have inspection bodies enough instruments / handles for carrying out their inspections on 1.8.3 ADR? • Is the education SA adequate enough?
Case 4 UN 3257 Elevated temperature liquid, n.o.s • TU35 (4.3.5) empty fixed tanks (tank-vehicles), empty demountable tanks and empty tankcontainers, uncleaned, which have contained these substances are not subject to the requirements of ADR if adequate measures have been taken to nullify any hazard. Is ADR applicable on tanks empty uncleaned of UN 3257 with a temperature above 100°C with open tank-covers?
