  5. What is a Browser? • Internet Explorer is a browser. It enables us to view the content on the web. • It locates the web pages and interprets the language used to write them so they can be viewed.

  9. Exploring a Subject Directory • Universities, libraries and companies have created subject directories • Useful for general topics, in-depth research and browsing • www.lii.org
