PRS/PSC report update • Electronic process for both PRS and PSC • Program Reporting System (PRS) due 9/13/13 • PSC /electronic evidence review due 10/11/13 • Final overall GAPSC review due 11/4/13 or 11/18/13 • No interviews expected at this time. • Need your CVs updated and student sample work no later than 9/6/13 • Expect approval by Jan. 2014
Proposed changes • Revised Technology standards for Teachers and students • Professionalism Standards to align with TKES • Culture course to include Literacy development strand and Read additional book • Applied Linguistics course updates • Methods course to include changes in textbooks, pedagogical framework, Field experiences, focus on assessment oflearning,

Next Steps • Writing teams will gather your feedback from today and work on input and meet again on Sept. 26 for final edits. • When will we transition to new syllabi? January , 2013 • New TESOL Endorsement training for new Curriculum with Dr. Rojas scheduled February 3-6, 2013. (choose 2 days)
