  2. What images or ideas do you get have about a dictatorship? • Write your own definition of dictatorship! • At least 20 words.

  3. What images or ideas do you get about a monarchy? The Saudi king is an Absolute Monarch – he has absolute powers. • Write your own definition of a monarchy! • At least 20 words. Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is a Constitutional Monarch. She has no real power to govern, which is the role of Parliament by the Constitution.

  6. Representative Democracy Citizens vote for elected officials to represent them, such as presidents, senators, governors, mayors, delegates, congressmen, etc. There are two types of Democracy.Know the differences! Which of these two methods is smarter? Choose one and explain why.

  7. Direct Democracy • Citizens govern themselves directly. They meet frequently to vote on all local government actions. This is rarely used, except in a few small towns. Why?
