International News WaelGhonim, who leads Google’s marketing efforts for the Middle East & North Africa, is expected to be released by Egyptian authorities to his family He disappeared in Egypt over a week ago leaving a message on Twitter He is one of many who have gone missing during the revolts in Cairo but his friends and family are optimistic about finding him safe

National News Michelle Obama is drawing the United States attention to the food consumed daily She is encouraging food makers to produce nutrition labels that are easier to understand Her focus is now on restaurants as she teams with the National Restaurant Association She is beginning her campaign “Let’s Move” to reduce childhood obesity this Tuesday

  4. Local News Sam LaCara, Placerville elementary school principle, was killed in his office by a school janitor last Wednesday Janitor, John Leubbers shot him to death (the motive was unclear) The school was put on lockdown but no students were hurt Leubbers was later arrested at his home

  5. Positive Influence 6 year old Vivian “Lives United” by raising money for the Gulf Coast She raised $53 by working at her lemonade stand last summer She sent the money to be put in the United Way’s Gulf Oil Spill fund to make sure the ocean is clean and people have jobs
