  2. Mid-Atlantic (Middle) Colonies Resources • Natural Resources: rich FARMLANDS, rivers • Human Resources: unskilled and skilled WORKERS, fishermen

  3. Mid-Atlantic Colonies: Geography and Climate • Appalachian Mountains, COASTAL lowlands, harbors and bays • MODERATE Climate

  4. Mid-Atlantic (Middle) Colonies: Specialization • Livestock, GRAIN, fish

  5. Mid-Atlantic (Middle) Colonies: Examples of Interdependence • The Mid-Atlantic colonies TRADED with both the Southern and New England colonies to get the PRODUCTS they didn’t produce.

  6. Mid-Atlantic Colonies: Social/Political Life • Villages and Cities, varied and diverse (different) lifestyles, diverse RELIGIONS, especially in Pennsylvania
