  4. ONTARIO COLLEGE GUIDE-“Find a Program” • Lists all the programs offered • Identify which Colleges offer which programs • Addresses and College Contacts • Open Houses and Websites • List of important dates

  5. ONTARIO COLLEGES WEBSITEwww.ontariocolleges.ca • Research tool • Codes of all programs offered • Allows you to compare programs • Provides Dates of Campus Visits • List College Website addresses • Information on Costs

  7. CIP - COLLEGE INFORMATION FAIR • Exhibition Place - Direct Energy Centre • Tuesday, October 23rd 10:00 a.m.-7 p.m. • One day only – best to go after school

  8. APPLICATION PROCEDURES • Nov. 13 - In-service on how to apply • On-line – Nov. 24 to deadline Feb.1, 2013 • Transcripts are sent electronically • Verification & Amendment forms are mailed to your house

  9. APPLICATION PROCEDURES • $95.00 - by one of: • Certified Cheque • Money Order • Visa or Mastercard • Up to 5 choices on the application • 3 choices maximum at one College • Applications available in early October

  10. THEN WHAT…… • Colleges will contact you to schedule • testing days • portfolio presentations • orientation times • interviews • Conditional Offers of Admission • as early as Feb 1 • accept offer on-line

  11. WHAT DO YOU DO NOW ??? • Start your research • Set up a file – SAVE EVERYTHING !! • See your Guidance Counsellor • Visit the Colleges • Go to CIP after school • Attend the BA Fair Nov. 7th– 6:00 – 8:30 pm • Read all documents CAREFULLY
