  22. Humboldt school yearbooks • LIBRARY HAS MOST HUMBOLDT HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOKS SINCE 1970 • YEARBOOKS CANNOT BE REMOVED FROM THE LIBRARY. • ASK THE LIBRARIAN TO GET A YEARBOOK FOR YOU.

  23. Our electroniccard catalog system We use a library card catalog called “Destiny Quest” at Humboldt Junior and Senior High School.   25. Checkout procedures/returning books • GIVE BOOK, NAME, AND GRADE TO MS. TAYLOR. • THE LIBRARIAN WILL SCAN/TYPE IN BARCODE NUMBER. • KEEP A BOOK FOR 2 WEEKS (IF TIME IS LONGER, YOU MUST RENEW THE BOOK IN THE LIBRARY.) • CHECK OUT LIMIT IS TWO BOOKS. • PAY A FINE FOR A LOST AND/OR DAMAGED BOOK. • BOOKS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! • RETURN A BOOK TO MS. TAYLOR AT DESK: THE LIBRARIAN WILL SCAN AND SHELVE THE BOOK.

  26. Computers in the library We have 24 computers available to use in the library for research and class project purposes.

  27. Printing • A laser printer is available for printing black & white copies of class projects and research articles. • Be sure to check that your print job is one page to five pages. • Please see Ms. Taylor about printing items.

  28. Food and drink • NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE LIBRARY.

  29. Shelving books Please do not shelve a book if you decide against checking out the item. Please give the book to the librarian — who will be happy to shelve it for you! Why? It helps to keep our library neat and makes books easy-to-find.
