Interface Standardization Goal: Develop a standard set of interfaces to the core financial system to be adopted by all federal agencies. • Standard interfaces will include definitions and layout for required fields • Coordinating with major processes • E-Travel • E-Payroll • Acquisition • Grants

OMB Policy and Implementation Strategy • FSIO tested and certified software will include CGAC and standard business processes and will be released as the Federal configuration • Integrators must implement the Federal configuration • Agencies must use the Federal configuration • The Federal configuration will be the standard; approved deviations must be registered with FSIO • Agencies will implement new standards at time of major upgrade/implementation of financial system • Based on system life cycle for financial system

Timeline 2008 FSIO completes standard business process development and updates the Core Financial System Requirements 2009 FSIO finalizes updates to Core Financial System Requirements and begin to create a new full test of the updated Core Financial System Requirements • FSIO completes development of new full test of updated requirements and coordinates testing of Treasury system updates • FSIO administers a full test of the updated Core Financial System Requirements

Oracle Version 12Demonstration Update • FSIO reviewed software release notes to determine extent of review required to certify software update • Based on review FSIO determines level of effort to certify product • Minimal changes – review of release notes • Significant changes – vendor demonstration • Major changes – full core system test
