  2. Content • IMT-Advanced • Update of IMT Recommendation • Technical research on CRS

IMT-Advanced • Submission of “Certification B” • ARIB、ATIS、CCSA、ETSI、TTA and TTC are authorized by “Certification B” from 3GPP as transposing organization for LTE-Advanced • IEEE、ARIB、TTA and WiMAX Forum are authorized by “Certification B” from IEEE as transposing organization for WirelessMAN-Advanced • IMT.RSPEC • A semi-final version was produced, most of contents have been stabilized, but 5D is waiting for the material from transposing organization. • It is expected to approve IMT.RSPEC in RA 2012. • Document revision procedure were clarified in 5D/TEMP/494 • A liaison was sent to GCS proponents and transposing organization

Update of IMT Recommendation • M.1457: IMT-2000 recommendation • Content for update of 802.16e in R-11 of M.1456 was postponed to the next 5D meeting, which is “meeting x” • M.1579: Global circulation of IMT-2000 terminals • It has been agreed to remove all the satellite related content from the document • Whether to add the content for IMT-Advanced terminals will be discussed after the approval of IMT.RSPEC • A liaison was sent to 4B to indicate the situation • M.1580/1581 • Discussion was focused on whether to keep the non-IMT band in the document • Revision 4 of this document is postponed for two meeting

  5. Technical research on CRS • IMT.CRS • Whether it will become an ITU-R report or not has not been decided yet • One liaison from WP5A and 4 input documents were received in WP5D#10 • France and Japan suggested focus on intra-operator scenario • French input is based on ETSI RRS project and EU FP7 FARAMIR project
