Logo of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Bid Resemble the shape of a traditional Chinese artifact known as the "China Heart Unit." Resemble a person doing "taiji", symbolizing gracefulness, harmony, vitality and mobility as well as unity, cooperation, exchange and development.

The Logo of the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay The traditional concept of "fire phoenix", and presents the image of two runners holding the Olympic Flame high. As ancient Chinese legend has it, phoenix is the king of all birds, and symbolizes good fortune, eternity, nobility and happiness. The use of the phoenix image in the Torch Relay logo conveys the idea that the Torch Relay will send the best wishes from the Beijing Olympic Games to people all over China and the rest of the world.
The fuel of the torch is propane, which is a common fuel which also comes with a low price. It is composed of carbon and hydrogen. No material, except carbon dioxide and water remain after the burning, eliminating any risk of pollution.
National Indoor Stadium The National Indoor Stadium will undertake events such as gymnastics(sports), handball ,trampoline and wheelchair basketball of the Paralympic Games
Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest ) The stadium will host the main track and field competitions for the 2008 Summer Olympics, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
National Aquatic Center (Water Cube) The center will be the venue for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water-polo final during the Olympic Games.
