  2. OBJETIVO • Reconocer las etapas del ciclo de las rocas. • Reconocer algunos procesos que se llevan a cabo en este ciclo.

  3. INTEMPERISMO • También conocido como meteorización. • Destrucción constante de rocas; cambios que tienen lugar en las rocas o minerales en la superficie terrestre por agentes bióticos o abióticos. • Implica un desgaste permanente.

  4. INTEMPERISMO • Mecánica. Fuerzas físicas (gravedad, temperatura, agua, exposición al Sol, presión). www.juntadeandalucia.es

  5. Gelifracción. • Expansión provocada por descompresión. • Expansión/contracción térmica. • Exfoliación. • Actividad biológica.

  9. EROSIÓN • Es la formación de partículas (sedimentos) a partir de agentes bióticos o abióticos. • A diferencia de la intemperismo, implica un transporte de las partículas. • El intemperismo da lugar a la formación de suelos.
