Scope of GPRA Outcomes Assessment • As part of Milwaukee WIser Choice, clients are assessed for federal GPRA outcomes at intake, at 30 days (“first status GPRA”), and at 90 days (“second status GPRA”). • 82% of clients given clinical appointments do present for treatment (wait-listed or still-incarcerated excluded). • 68% of all clients who present for treatment at their first appointment continue in treatment for at least 30 days. • In 2006, 73% of all clients who continued in treatment for at least 30 days did have a “first status GPRA” completed. • Both successful and unsuccessful clients may complete or discontinue treatment prior to the “second status GPRA.”
Of 2196 clients completing both Intake and First Status (30-Day) GPRAs from 6-20-05 to 11-30-06: • 331 clients who were neither employed nor enrolled in school/job training at intake were employed or enrolled in school/job training after 30 days of services. • 102 clients who were homeless at intake were no longer homeless after 30 days of services. • 181 clients who had been arrested in the 30 days prior to intake were not arrested during the first 30 days of services. • 109 clients who had little or no positive contact with their families were having positive contact after 30 days of services.
