Rotary International Youth Exchange • District 7570 does all exchanges through a multi-district organization ESSEX • District 7570 follows RI rules for exchanges • District 7570 follows US State Department regulations for exchanges • District 7570 Youth Protection Policy applies to all volunteers with Youth Exchange
Types of Youth Exchange • Short Term • 3-4 weeks in summer • Direct Club-to-Club, Family-to-Family exchange • No cost to Club • Applications due by April 15, 2014
Types of Youth Exchange • Long Term • Academic year- mid-August to Mid-June • Outbound • Club sponsors student from community • No cost to Club • Applications due by December 1, 2014
Types of Youth Exchange • Long Term • Academic year- mid-August to Mid-June • Inbound • Club hosts student from abroad • Club provides monthly allowance • Club supplies Counselor • Club recruits 2-3 host families
