  2. El verboIr • NOTE: IR ≠ ir • IR refers to an “IR” verb (e.j. vivir) • The verb ir means to go. • It is an irregular verb!

  4. El verboIr • To talk about where people are going, you need to add the connector “a” • So, “ir a” means to go to. • *NOTE: when “a” appears before “el (the)”, they combine to become al. This does not happen with “a la.”
