Change Log • Received over 160 customization requests • Over 110 completed • ~15 scheduled for Phase 2 or subsequent phase • Submit any requests or testing results between now and cutover to csd@listserv.cc.emory.edu

Manage IT Status • All out of the box capabilities implemented (initial goal for Phase 1) • All Applications currently running on production hardware (App. Server, Web Server, and DB Server) • Cutover date delayed to June 9th • Development team continue implementing final customizations • Provide time for the community to familiarize themselves with the interface in “final” form

Symantec SAV 10 • Compatible with Windows XP & 2000 • Requires: 64 MB of disk space, 55 MB of RAM, Microsoft IE 5.5 SP2 or later, Intel Pentium processor at 150 MHz (Pentium II or higher recommended) • Enhanced protection from spyware and adware • Tamper Protection • Uses TCP 2967 now (was UDP)
Enhanced Virus Definition Server • Available for the entire campus • Uses Centralized SAV Managed Server • Will be included on Fall EOL CD • Updates via VDTM (Hourly Rapid Releases) • Scheduled daily LiveUpdates for redundancy • Centralized reporting via SESA
Rollout Recommendations • Complete testing of both clients • Upgrade Managed Server first • Upgrade Windows clients to SAV 10 • Note: Managed solutions may not fully work with SESA. • Base AV information available new features may or may not have reporting support • Requires: 111 MB of disk space plus 15 MB for AMS2 server files, 64 MB of RAM, Microsoft IE 5.5 SP2 or later • Upgrade MAC 10.3+ clients to Norton AV 10
