Hello. We are Zendaya and Zalary. We are Zebras. We live in a grassland biome. Fun Facts, Zebras are in the same family and horses and donkeys. Each zebra’s stripes are unique. Zebras have excellent hearing and sight. A zebra shows it’s mood through it’s ears. Zebras like to paint themselves in polka dots and wear rainbow afro wigs. Well A least one does…….
Hi. We are Kary, Mary, Sherry, Larry, Barry, and Harry. We are Koalas. We mainly live in a bush land biome. Fun Facts Unlike most people think, a Koala is not a bear but is a marsupial (they have a pouch). Baby Koalas are called Joeys. When a Joey is first born it is only about as big as a jelly bean. Koalas only eat Eucalyptus . Koalas are nocturnal.
Hi. We are Patty, Lola, Sally, Nattily, Addy, Oliver, Zach, Mike, Henry, and Jared. We are Meerkats. We live in a dessert plain or grassland biome. Fun Facts Meerkat babies have baby sitters. While others look for food at least one meerkat will stand guard for predators. The scientific name for the meerkat is Suricata suricatta. Meerkats are the only members of the mongoose family without a bushy tail. Meerkats have excellent eyesight and can spot an eagle in flight more than a thousand feet (300 meters) away.
Hi. We are Seana (Shaw-na), Rodney, and Donna. We are American Alligators. We can live in a freshwater river, lake, pond, swamp, bayou, or a marsh. Fun Facts Alligators are the largest reptile. The American Alligator has between 74 and 80 teeth! There are about 5 million American Alligators in America. Alligators have such strong jaws that they could easily crack a turtle shell. At one point the American Alligator was almost extinct.
If I could be one animal in my zoo it would be a cheetah. I would live in a desert, savanna, grassland, open country, or scrubland biome. I would want to be a cheetah because: I would get to be really fast. I would get to be a really pretty animal. I would get to be a very unique animal. I would be very skilled. And last but not least I would want to be a cheetah because cheetahs are awesome!!!
