Fraction - a representation of a real number using the base ten and decimal notation, such as 201.4, 3.89, or 0.0006. Decimal- Percent - a ratio that compares a number to 100. a number that can be written as a fraction Rational Number - a line on which numbers are marked at intervals, used to illustrate simple numerical operations. Number Line - Inequality - An algebraic relation showing that a quantity is greater than or less than another quantity

  31. Finding the whole given the part and percent. Essential Understanding: To find the whole when given the part and percent, you simply change the percent to a decimal and divide the "part" by the percent. Examples:
