October is the beginning of the dry season, the weather conditions is fresh, but we can see dust everywhere. This is time of vacation for all students of the public schools. We have more people in our meetings in the mid week. Our young people are having more participation in our Bible classes in homes, leading prayers and songs. Some of them dedicate this time of the vacation to present Bible studies in homes as a responsibility for themselves. Eliseo Miron
During vacation season we have in our home, here in Chalchuapa, a group of children from 6 to 12 from Santa Ana, to learn God`s word and to receive the influence of good attitudes. My wife and our daughters are involved in this work. They prepare materials and teach all lessons. The violence and the economic situation are adversities that are affecting all brethren along the country. We covet your prayers for all saints in El Salvador. Eliseo Miron
To conclude, we ask you and the Church of Alabama that you prays for the brethren in the faith, because in the city of Guatemala and Mixco there are areas that qualify as red zones, because there is a lot of crime. They are areas gangs or crime lords who extort the elderly, there are brethren that are victims of these gangs, who threaten to kill some member or their whole family. Francisco Ventura López
The Church that meets in the Belen colony, Mixco, Brother Juan Manuel Ventura, he and his family have receive death threats if they do not come up with the amount of money demanded by these criminals. This brother is a good worker in this congregation, for this the brethren would be very hurt if something were to happen [to him]. We pray to God that none of this will happen to the brother. Francisco Ventura López
