What is Foreshadowing? Foreshadowing is the technique at hinting about something that will occur later in the story.
Examples of Foreshadowing • Example: Earlier at 5:00 the bank was robbed. He took 5,000 dollars. There were five witnesses left alive. They say he had a gun and he didn’t have gloves on.
How to Identify Foreshadowing STEP 1: Think about the plot events. STEP 2: Look for clues in the dialogue or description. STEP 3: Predict what will happen next.
