WASH DISHES • Fill one sink with HOT soapy water • Get a dish rag from laundry area • Wash dishes as you go • Rinse Dishes
DRY DISHES/FOLD TOWELS/SWEEP • Fold any towels that are in the white laundry basket and put them on the shelves • Get 2 hand towels from the laundry area • Sweep your unit and under your table • 4A and 8B Put up the four chairs on the table
PUT DISHES AWAY/WIPE OFF COUNTERS • Place CLEAN dishes in the correct drawers and cupboards • Get a dish rag from the laundry area to wipe off counters • Keep counters clean at all times. Make sure the dish rag is wet and has soap on it
CLEAN SUPPLY TABLE/SET THE TABLE • Put all perishable ingredients in the fridge or freezer. • Place all the dry ingredients on the correct shelf in the pantry • WIPE OFF the supply table • Always place placemats on table and set table according to what you need.
DEMONSTRATE SANITATION SKILLS • Wash hands for 20 seconds (use hand soap) • Wear an apron • Tie Hair Back • Do NOT sit on the counter (I scream)
REMOVE HOT PANS WITH OVEN MITTS • Do NOT use a hand towel or dish rag
STAY IN YOUR ASSIGNED UNIT • Each time you are asked to go back to your unit you will lose 5 points in lab.
