Primary Instructors: • Encourage students NOT to be absent or late on test day. • Review appropriate test-environment behaviors with studentsthe week before they are scheduled for testing by showing them the following slide presentations: • Test-Day Procedures (Listed under STUDENTS.) • Directions for Listening (Listed under STUDENTS.) • Directions for Reading (Listed under STUDENTS.)   3. Procedures for Test-Day Instructors • Have a class roster with student pictures ready to give test administrators. • Accompany students to the testing room. • Line students up separately by class-section numbers (e.g., F/LB/HB or combined classes). Line students up as listed on the roster. • Supervise the line during the sign-in process. • Fill out the attendance sheet’s header completely listing all of the absentee students or checking NONE if all students are present. • Keep students quiet in the halls and when entering the testing room. • Supervise late-arriving students in the classroom.

  4. When will students get their scores? Listening Round One – Students will get their scores from the Speaking Instructor within one week of taking the test. Reading and Listening Round Two – Students will get their scores on the last day of term. Class grade averages will also be available. Foundations 180 or below Low Beginning 181 – 190 High Beginning 191 – 200 Low Intermediate 201 – 210 High Intermediate 211 –220 Advanced 221 – 235

SLM Testing Center • The Testing Center is in Building Dacross the street from Building B. • READING & LISTENING Round 1 Escort students across the street using the crosswalk near the student parking lot next to the bus stop. • LISTENING Round 2 HI and ADV - Please send students to the Testing Center.F/LB/HB and LI – Students will be escorted by a staff member. • Remind students if they are late, they should report to the ESOL class not Testing.
