SCCOE’s District Support for Implementation for Common Core State Standards (CCSS ) Support district leaders in establishing and strengthening systems and structures to ensure that implementation of the CCSS is successful and sustainable Ensure effective systems implementation of the CCSS by: • Determining readiness for system change • Attending to the critical elements of each stage of implementation • Defining criteria and establishing a highly effective District Implementation Team • Developing short and long term Implementation Plan
