Brrrrr… It’s A Blizzard OLIVIA 5G2
Where does your disaster happen ? Blizzards typically happen in the Northern states of the USA. Blizzards do not really happen in the Southern states or in the Western states. Blizzards almost happen everywhere in the world besides for near the equator. They happen in the North and South Poles because it is colder there.
WHAT STRUCTURES AND FEATURES OF EARTH ARE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN BLIZZARDS? Mountains usually have a lot of snow from blizzards because they are so high up the snow hits them first. They also hit ski towns because they are ski towns because of the snow and the mountains. They normally happen in the North and South poles. Blizzards can happen anywhere because the weather is unpredictable sometimes but they normally happen in really cold places.
A Typical Occurrence of Blizzards. Blizzards typically happen in the winter in the USA. There is a cold front with wind then it mixes with rich moisture from the east coast. That combination mixed together makes a perfect snowy blizzard. They happen normally in the winter months because in the spring and summer it is hot.
Most Extreme Conditions that can happen in Blizzards? The most extreme condition that could happen during a blizzard is, getting stuck in your house freezing. They affect transportation which are roads, highways, and can close airports. They can cause other natural disasters as in avalanches. They can affect power lines so then you loose power.
How are blizzards measured? Blizzards are measured in feet or inches depending on how much snow there is. They are also measured with how fast the wind is because wind is a huge component to a blizzard. If the wind is not fast enough then it is not considered a blizzard. Also how cold the air is out side. That is measured by F.
After Effects Of a blizzard After a blizzard happens there is still going to be snow outside on the ground. Also poles, trees, and many other things outside will be knocked over from the wind. There could be ice so there could be ice on the ground and trees. There is a lot of damage during a blizzard and that wont go away when the blizzard is over.
