How are Children and Adults and ? Children and adult barracudas are similar in that they both rely on surprise and short jolts of speed to capture their prey, giving up control of movement. On the other hand, adult barracudas are more or less loners, while young and half- grown barracudas often gather in schools also known as a battery. Alike Different
Attraction to Jewelry Barracudas are attracted to jewelry or any- thing with a reflection. If something or somebody was to wear or have something shiny on, it would lead to a meal for the Barracuda. Barracudas often swim in shallow water and so do most people. This is why they attack people so often.
Steps in Catching a Fish 1. They visually scope out their prey. 2. They sneak up on their prey at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. 3. They circle the prey. 4. If the prey is small, like Sardines or Herring, it will eat it whole. 5. If it is a larger fish, like a Snapper or a Grouper, it will tear it apart and eat it in bite sized chunks.
