Given a situation students will be able to discuss the feelings of people during the Great Depression. 42. This is my mom Margaret. She spends all her time taking care of the family. She has to make our food and other household supplies stretch since my dad lost his job. She is very supporting of our whole family.

43. This is my dad John. He just lost his job at the bank because of the depression. He is the main provider for my family, so he is looking for a manual labor job.

44. This is my brother Jack. He went to school, but he dropped out to join the military. He did this so my dad wouldn’t have to provide for him anymore.
