Chapter 7 Themes • “he would like to have a pair of scissors and cut this hair […] He would like to have a bath[…] then there were his nails-” (pg.109) • “You’ll get back to were you came from”(pg.111) • “With the bore only five yards away, he flung the foolish wooden stick that he carried, saw it hit the great snout and hang there a moment[…]I hit him all right. The spear struck in. I wounded him!” (pg.113)
