  2. Childhood • Born July 31st ,1965, Gloucestershire, England. • She told her little sister stories. • When she was young her favorite game was the Cliff game where she hangs off the stairs and begs her sister to help her but she doesn’t help and she falls. • She loved trains.

  3. School Days • When she went to school she liked to tell stories to her friends. • Her favorite author is Jane Austin. • 3 books inspired her to write.. • She stood up to the school bully. • Three books made her want to write.

  4. Collage years • She went to Exeter University. • She studied Greek, Latin,& French.

  5. First Book • She became a secretary in London, England. • She got the idea of Harry Potter at work. • After seven years of rewriting she thought it was ready to show the earth. • The K in J.K stands for Kathleen.

  6. First Movie • She starred her friend Shaun’s car in the movie Chamber Of Secrets. • She learned about herbs and had them put it in Harry Potter.

  7. Finishing the series • She finished the Harry Potter series in 2011-2012.

  8. After Harry Potter • She got married in a library. • She wrote a book for adults. • In Feb. 2012 She said it would not have magic.
