Facts • Harry goes to school at Hogwarts and is in the Gryffindor house. There is also the Hufflepuff house, Ravenclaw , and Slytherin. • Harry is a pureblood like his friend Ron meaning that both his parents are wizards. Unlike his friend Hermione who is a mudblood. Meaning muggle born. Or both parents mortals.
Characters • Harry Potter- Is the main character of the Harry Potter series. His goal is to defeat Lord Voldomort his arch enemy. He goes to school at Hogwarts, with his friends.
Lord Voldomort • Lord Voldomort-Harry’s parents’ murderer. He is trying to protect his Horcruxes is the 7th book from Harry (Horcruxes- Part of Voldomort’s soul split up in 7 pieces and hidden in various places.
Ron Weasley • Ron Weasley-Harry Potter’s best friend who abandons him halfway through his journey to find all 7 horcruxes. But then later in a, life and death situation Ron saves Harry’s life.
Hermione Granger • Hermione Granger-Harry’s friend that secretly cares about Ron and is determined to save the world with Harry.
Symbols to understand • The sign of the deathly hallows- The three things that Harry must Be in control of to defeat Lord Voldomort once and for all. • The dark mark- A tattoo that all of Lord Voldomort’s Followers have.
Setting • This book’s settings are in never ending places. From random woods Harry, Ron , Hermione, camp out in. To friend’s cottages, to Hogwarts (their school) to The Shrieking Shack (An abanded shack on the Hogsmede grounds) • The 7th Harry Potter book is aimed to take place in present time.
Mood • The mood of the story is serious. • There is no sly or funny comments the tone is extremely because any corner they turn they could be in grave danger.
Recommended • I would recommend this book for 5th through 8th grade. • If I rated this book from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) this book would defiantly be a 5.
Theme • No matter how defeated you feel you can always get back up and try again
