  6. Getting started in Healthy Lifestyle Rewards.

  7. If you’re already registered just log in by entering your username and password. Go to blueshieldca.com/hlr If you haven’t already registered, click on “Register Now” https://www.blueshieldca.com/hlr

  8. You’ll need your Blue Shield ID number from your member ID card to register. XEHJ12345678 05 01 1960

  9. Get started by completing a Wellness Assessment.

  10. The assessment asks questions about your activity levels, eating habits and more. Your personal information is completely confidential and is never shared with your employer. 5’ 8”

  11. You can always go back to the assessment and enter your biometrics at a later time. You don’t need to know your biometrics, such as blood pressure and cholesterol, to complete the Wellness Assessment. Enter the information you know. 2009 21 January 2

  17. Get started by clicking on the “Health Programs” tab.

  18. “My Dashboard” is your personal home page. You can find your recommended health programs based on your Wellness Assessment.

  19. Choose from a number of health programs such as the Weight Management program.

  20. Get personalized exercise and meal planners. Discover the basics of effective exercise and nutrition.

  21. The meal planner will help count more than just calories.

  22. It provides a weekly grocery list you can print and take with you.

  23. In the Exercise Program you will find planners and lots of tips to give you a daily routine and a tracker to track exercise.

  24. Not sure of an exercise? There’s a video to show you how!

  25. Are you depressed or stressed? Check out tools on the Stress Information Center that can help you de-stress.

  26. Learn how stress affects you by participating in the Stress Management Program. Start off by getting the basics on stress and then begin to track your stress.

  27. Select a stress management technique to help you lower your stress level.

  28. Click on the “Health Tools” tab to access Health Topics. Find answers to your general health questions here.

  29. Health Topics also provides you with the most trusted and up-to-date facts about more than 160 conditions, treatments and procedures.

  30. Need information as you determine what to do about your symptoms? Get help figuring them out by answering a series of questions on the Symptom Checker. Click on the “Health Tools” tab to access additional resources.
