Care Plan DAM – Post Phoenix May 2014 – Care Plan DAM Informative Ballot 2: what’s were balloted? • Ballot reconciliation • Balloted contents: • Storyboard (new: Care/Disease Management) • Updated model • References to care plan processes in CCS • About 90+ ballot comments • Half negatives • The remaining: questions, comments, suggestions • Post Phoenix fortnightly ballot reconciliation conference calls • Completed in mid August
Care Plan DAM – current status • Apply ballot issue disposition decision • Storyboard on CM/DM update per ballot comments – in progress • All DAM contents update to progress into mid October • Project team final approval review • Post Chicago WGM conference call • Publication: • Planned for end of October

Care Coordination Services (CCS) May 2014 – DSTU ballot: what’s new? • Include functional capabilities to support care plan initiation, complex negotiations and coordination • Added dynamic/behavioural framework and processes based on care plan process use cases Next phase: DSTU implementation OMG technical spec development
CCS – next phase • Ballot reconciliation completed: August • Apply changes to CCS specification based on May 2014 ballot disposition decisions • Publish CCS DSTU: October • Two implementers working on DSTU implementation • Work with OMG: • OMG to issue RFP (Dec 2014) for vendor response to produce implementation technical specification
Health Concern DAM September 2014 – Informative ballot • First Informational ballot for Health Concerns • 129 participants • 26 affirmative votes • 8 negative votes • 83% Quorum, mininum required of 21 affirmative • 3 ballot spreadsheets with 42 comments. • 32 negative comments to deal with during WGM and post Chicago conference calls
PCWG in FHIR • FHIR clinical resource DSTU • Processing change requests from technical connectathon • New FHIR clinical resource developed • ReferralRqeust (scope covering referral and transfer of care requests) • To be decided at Chicago WGM • Clinical assessment • Procedure request/order • Patient education
FHIR Clinical Connectathon • Objective: • Test the clinical accuracy, validity and usefulness of FHIR clinical resources • Three clinical storyboards/scripts will be used • Allergy/intolerance, adverse reactions • Acute care • Chronic conditions management • Date: Friday 19 September • Likely to be repeated at next WGM • Care plan & referral will be heavily tested
