What started the civil war? • The 2 reasons that the Civil War began • First was disagreed with how state rights Versus federal power. • The second reason it began was the argument over slavery. Federal Power State Rights
What cities did each battle take place? • Bull Run in 1861 • The Battle of Antietam The Battle of Fort Wagner, which both took place in 1862. • The battles that took place in 1863 were Vicksburg and Gettysburg. • One of the largest military actions that took place in 1864 was Sherman’s march. • The last battle was in 1865 when the union took over Richmond and won the war.
Who was the leader in the civil war? • Northern leaders were Abraham Lincoln, Winfield Scott, Gorge B. McClellan, Henery Wager Halleck, Ulysses S. Grant , and Gideon. • The southern leaders were Jefferson Davis, PGT Beaurgurd, Joseph E. Johnston, Robert E. Lee, and Stephen Mallory.
