  1. “Build on the Rock” 2015 Capital Bond Program Project Progress Report August 1, 2019

  2. Cherry Park ES Kitchen UpfitDESIGNER: Moseley, GC: Whiting-Turner80% complete Kitchen hood and Freezer/Cooler have been installed. Equipment pad has been poured. Contractor will start interior cleanup this week. Contractor will start exterior grading and cleanup this week. Punchlist item: wall cover caps were used on the floor; need to be replaced. OSF 7/30 Inspection, Hood subcontractor not on site to test hood. Final inspection to be scheduled. District Maintenance Follow-Up We will know soon if there is a need to install a small water heater in health room. Beam requested that the District and the principal compile a list of warranty items.

  3. Northside ES Phase 1 DESIGNER: Quackenbush, CM: Thompson Turner85%, tentative completion by 08/05/19 Carpet is being installed in admin area this week. VCT in the new building had to be removed because the contractor did not follow the moisture prevention product directions when they installed it and there were quality control issues - gaps and joints that did not align. Gym and stage floor will be completed by 8/2. The rest of the millwork will be installed in new building by 8/2. OSF 7/30 Inspection went well. OSF is allowing furniture to be installed.

  4. Northside ES Phase 1, continued Front stairs at entrance had to be removed. They were installed incorrectly which was brought to their attention by Jim and David. The asphalt was installed in rear parking lot, and will require special repairs in several areas. Landscaping is going in and all plants and trees are looking good at this time. They know they are required to keep them watered. Sod started on 7/29. Concrete sidewalks and stairs will be completed by 8/2. Movers are scheduled for 8/6 & 7.

  5. Northside ES Phase 2 DESIGNER: Quackenbush, CM: Catalyst Construction 90%, tentative completion by 08/06/2/19 Painters are complete except touch-up to be done after other trades have completed. Carpet has been installed in old media center and will be installed in new media center by 8/2. Ceilings are complete. Media Center sound batts have been installed; just need to adjust height. Temp lights will need to be installed while waiting on new lights to come in.

  6. South Pointe HS Athletic Renovation DESIGNER: LS3P, GC: Hostetter & Son Construction80%, tentative completion by 8/6/19 Brick installation is complete. Structural steel has been set and decking installed. Roofing is complete waiting on metal cap. Students need to stay out of the gym until 4 PM as agreed. Laundry room new sewer line installation is complete. Door frames in corridor and gym were installed. Contractor finished and cleaned corridor last week. They will still need access through corridor during the day to complete laundry room. Water heaters have been installed; working on piping .

  7. Ebenezer Avenue ES Sprinkler System DESIGNER: LS3P, GC: Hostetter & Son Constr.70%, tentative completion by 8/12/19; contractual completion by 9/1/19 Fire line to be installed in elevator. Sprinkler pipe needs to be placed in cooler, freezer and kitchen office. Contractor needs keys for access. OSF inspection dates: 7/19 upstairs, partial 1st floor; approved above ceiling7/29 overhead at media center & kitchen8/12 final  Administration Renovation – “Main Project”DESIGNER: LS3P, GC: Beam Construction RE: standing water at the street – milling will be done by 8/1.

  8. Sullivan Middle School Passive Fire Barrier CorrectionsDESIGNER: Moseley Decision was made 7/1 for this project to be a Design Bid Build project to managed by J.M. Cope, instead of a District Maintenance project. Scope: Install closers on all 48 classroom doors. Install closers, astragals and smoke seals at 48 corridors doors. Tentative Schedule: Design: 7/29 –8/23 (4 wks) Bid/Award: 8/26 – 9/27 (5 wks) Construction: Oct – Jan (4 mos) Moseley proposal received. CMO request PO 7/25. Once Moseley is engaged, CMO will draft a letter from the District to OSFM & OSF regarding the repairs and date for completion. “Build on the Rock”

  9. NWHS & RHHS Auditorium LightingDESIGNER: C4D Design Group60%, tentative completion by 8/1/19 Commissioning scheduled for August 9th. XL Mediaworks working to allow RHHS use of stage for band camp. Substantial completion is scheduled for 8/16. Punch List will be completed by 8/30. Stairwell RemediationDESIGNER: REI, GC: First Class Construction90%, tentative completion by 8/6/19 NWHS stair pans were poured 7/30. Vendor delivered incorrect treads. Concrete will be poured and broom finished to where stairs can be used until treads are delivered. RHHS holes were drilled 7/30. NORTHWESTERN HS NORTHWESTERN HS

  10. York Road ES DESIGNER: Moseley GC: First Class Construction90%, tentative completion by 8/6/19 Spears construction removed from project. Floor tile installed and grouted. All door frames installed and grouted; masonry above doors is complete. Electrician scheduled to install auto openers Contractor cleaning kitchen equipment today to prepare for reinstall “Build on the Rock”

  11. Finley Road ES DESIGNER: Moseley GC: Hostetter and Son Constr.60%, tentative completion by 8/6/19 Door frames are installed and grouted. Doors to be delivered by 8/2. Painters scheduled to start by 8/2. Drywall/metal stud installation complete by 8/2. Principal was informed that contractor will be on site on 7/22 “Build on the Rock”

  12. LESSLIE Belleview, Lesslie & Independence ES DESIGNER: Moseley GC: Catalyst 90%, tentative completion by 8/6/19 Electrician who was assigned to all three facilities has been replaced. Lesslie: HVAC wiring progressing Control resubmittal has been submitted Independence: Units installed. Currently working to complete wiring. Control resubmittal has been submitted Belleview New exit signs installed. Casework on schedule to be installed 8/3. Water intrusion issues on slab in front office. Moisture was 95%. Contractor has demoed all VCT to install moisture barrier before new flooring is installed. Moisture barrier to be installed by 8/2. LESSLIE INDEPENDENCE BELLEVIEW

  13. ATC Fire Alarm DESIGNER: Buford Goff GC: DNB Electric10%, tentative completion by 10/17/19 DNB mobilized to site week of 7/15 with ordered materials. Crew size increased to 8 by 7/29. Work is progressing. Grant has requested the schedule. “Build on the Rock”
