  10. Objectives • Learn how to share a journal with other JMP users. • Discuss how to save results in JMP. • Identify different formats for saving results. • Explore options for reporting results outside of JMP.

  11. Sharing a Journal You can share a journal with other JMP users. If the journal contains file references or other links, you can • save the journal and all files referenced by it in a shared directory • send or transfer the journal and all files referenced by it; links in the journal must be restored. To restore links in a journal, right-click on a link and select Edit Set Script and specify the correct file path.

  12. Saving Results in JMP Reproduce results with scripts saved in the Table panel.

  13. Saving Results in JMP Use a journal to save “snapshots” of your results. • Select Edit Journal or press CTRL-J. • The window contents are added to a journal. • The output is no longer linked to the data table.

  14. Saving JMP Results in Other Formats JMP reports can be saved in a variety of formats. .pdf .doc .htm

  15. Copying and Pasting Reports Reports or portions of reports can be copied and pasted directly into other file types like Microsoft Office files. • Use the Selection tool to select the portion of the report you want to copy, and copy it. • Use Paste Special to paste the copied report as an enhanced metafile picture.

  16. Exporting Interactive Reports Bubble plot, distribution, and profiler reports can be exported as Adobe Flash animations.
