Historical Timeline • June 2000: Internet Technology Services Bureau (now Architecture and Internet Services Bureau) was formed in ITSD • August 2000: Single Sign-on Initiative first mentioned in Self-Funded Electronic Government Services Request for Proposal (RFP) • April 2001: Senate Bill 405 was passed and created the Montana Electronic Government Services Act

Historical Timeline • March 2002: A general overview of electronic identification was presented to the eGov Council • April 2002: The eGov Council recommended ITSD follow the federal government developments in identity management • May 2002: Statewide IT Strategic Plan for FY 04-05 mentioned the initiative in two locations

  4. Historical Timeline • May 2002: ITSD Strategic Plan, Objective #4 – Unified Electronic Identification • March 2004: Presented ePass Montana vision and project to the Enterprise Solutions Council (ESC) • April 2004: ITSD subcommittee started work on the architectural models for ePass Montana

  5. Historical Timeline • April 2004: Statewide IT Strategic Plan for FY 06-07 mentioned the initiative in two locations • July 2004: Architectural models were completed • July 2004: Development began on ePass Montana

  6. Historical Timeline • October 2004: The ePass Montana architectural models were demonstrated to the Information Technology Managers Council (ITMC) and the Web Developers Users Group • March 2005: A progress update was given to ITMC • February 2006: A progress update was given to ITMC

  7. Historical Timeline • February 2006: A full briefing of the project and vision was presented to the Information Technology Board • March 2006: The ePass Montana overview document was presented to ITMC

  8. Historical Timeline • April 2006: A progress update was given to the eGov Council • May 2006: ITSD Strategic Plan, Section 10 – Implementation of ePass Montana • July 2006: An overview and status was given to the eGov Council

  9. Historical Timeline • September 2006: ePass Montana went into production with the Vendor List service
