“Positive” Liberty • Having the requisite resources to have the freedom to make personal choices • inequities in wealth, knowledge, influence inequities in liberty • So, equity demands that government redistribute resources to aid liberty • affirmative action in education & public employment is needed to provide those with lesser educational & employment opportunities with access • minimum wage laws?
