  1. ESTAMPACIÓN EN FRIO • Consiste en someter el material a un proceso de compresión sobre una estampa por medio de una prensa • Operaciones básicas: • Troquelado: practicar un agujero en la chapa. Cortar un fragmento de esta y separarlo del resto. • Doblado y curvado: transformar una chapa plana en una en angulo o curva, respectivamente • Embuticion: obtener un cuerpo hueco a partir de una chapa plana. • Estirado:adelgazar las paredes de las piezas que han sido previamente embutidas.
