Supporting your child through GCSE Helping your child to see: • Short-term fun versus long-term benefits • Students should be taking responsibility for their own learning, organisation and levels of motivation • There needs to be a balance between work and social life • They need to be honest and seek help if they fall behind, feel demotivated or overwhelmed • It is important to keep everything in perspective

What the students need to do • Focus on themselves and what they want to achieve – Be Aspirational • Attendevery lessons • Work hard for yourself - Effort • Complete homework to high standard – Essential Tool • Make the most of the opportunities provided CURRICULUM & EXTRA CURRICULAR (work life balance) • Try various Exam Techniques • Try various Revision Techniques
