Structure of the Hungarian LLG system-development Core network of lifelong guidance professionals Appx. 50 guidance professionals in 24 Hungarian cities. Sector blind wider network of lifelong guidance delivery Building a national network of ~3 500 professionals, 600 of which is trained career guidance provider Cross-sectoral approach Increasing the number of career guidance professionals 30-hour training courses for teachers, social workers etc (1996 persons) Two master’s level programmes in career guidance (77 persons, 2 universities) Development of career information tools Development of the new National Guidance Portal as an integrative tool („yellow pages”) Newly developed films and folders about Hungarian occupations Dr. Tibor Bors BORBELY-PECZE borbelytibor@lab.hu
Council Resolution (2008) on better integrating lifelong guidance into lifelong learning strategies • How the Hungarian development addresses the priority areas of the Resolution: • Encourage the lifelong acquisition of career management skills; > Core network of lifelong guidance professionals > Development of career information tools • 2.
