Combining national weather data from NBC with local weather information from the market weather leader KSL 5 TV. Live 5 Weather Plus will provide viewers with “one-stop” for the latest weather information. Unlike the Weather Channel, viewers will get local weather details every 4 minutes from the Intermountain West’s most trusted source for news and weather: KSL 5 TV. In comparison to a standard newscast, viewers will get a complete national weather forecast, including travel and airport information every 4 minutes from NBC, America’s New Leader. But that’s not all. Live 5 Weather Plus will also provide a community calendar showing current events and regional activities that the weather will affect. Live 5 Weather Plus will be available on our high definition broadcast signal as well as distribution on your local Comcast cable network. Live 5 Weather Plus will soon become the #1 choice for 24/7 weather reports in the Intermountain West Region.
