BACKGROUND • The service provider must be able to provide services in the fields of construction/ office alterations (dry walling, ceilings, carpets etc), electrical work, plumbing, shop fitting etc and building maintenance associated with an office environment. • The emphasis is on a turnkey solution, or a one stop solution. • Please check the Construction Corporate Identity document • below the tender document on the website.

Details of the Bid • REQUEST FOR BID: • Office Alterations In The RAF Gauteng Region For A Period Of • Three Years • Initial Closing date 15 October 2012 • Additional Briefing session 03 October 2012-EcoGlades, Training room 4 @ 9h00-10h00 • Extension of closing date: 22 October 2012 • due to late publications on the Government Bulletin • All questions / enquiries outside this forum will be via email to: tsholok@raf.co.za not later than 11:00 on 10thOctober 2012 • Questions/ Answers will be published on the RAF website by 11thOctober 2012.

Technical Mandatory Requirements • The service provider must be an accredited CIDB (GB) grading level Five (5). Documentary proof of accreditation must accompany the bid response. • The service provider/subcontractor must provide proof of presence in the province in a form of a municipal bill of rates and taxes in the company name • NB: Bidders who do not meet functional mandatory requirements will be • disqualified and will not be considered for further evaluation on the • functional requirements.
