Cesar Pelli is an architect and educator. He was born in 1926 in Argentina; and is still alive today. He immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1952. “One of his more prominent commissions is the World Financial Center in Battery Park City.” -Gerald Brommer.
Cesar Pelli designed the World Financial Center in 1988. It’s located in battery park, New York. He also designed the Kuala Lumpur City Center in 1988. It was completed in 1996. Both of these buildings were some of Pelli’s award winning achievements.
Cesar Pelli was influenced by a man named Eero Saarinen another architect who did 20th Century Architecture.
Cesar Pelli focused on city buildings. • He has a long-standing interest in Urban environment. • His interest made him a logical candidate for design for urban construction.
